  • How do I power down my spa?

    For dedicated 110-volt models, simply unplug the GFCI from the wall or trip the GFCI and unplug it from the power source.

    For 220-volt and 30-amp models, open the sub-panel box and shut off the 20-amp breaker, and then shut off the 30-amp breaker. For 30-amp models, shut off the single 30-amp breaker in the sub-panel box.

  • How do I drain and refill my spa?

    Always drain spa by follow the manufacturer’s instructions. When refilling your spa, always put the water hose all the way down into the gray filter standpipe. Fill until the water is over the top set of jets.

    On 110-volt models, simply plug in the GFCI to restart. On 220-volt and 30-amp models, first turn on the 30-amp breaker, wait 30 seconds, and turn on the 20-amp breaker. For 30-amp models, turn on the single 30-amp breaker.

  • How do I clean my filters?

    Filters should be cleaned at least every four weeks. Spray the filter with full-strength SpaGuard Filter Cleaner and Degreaser uniformly, or soak the elements in a diluted solution of one part SpaGuard Cleaner and Degreaser to three parts water. Soak for a minimum two hours, or overnight if possible. The same procedure applies for the spray method. Rinse thoroughly.

  • How do I reset my heater?

    (If you don’t see your heater here, please contact our service department.)

    The Tri-Bend Heater (Trumpet Heater)

    3. Locate your heater inside the equipment compartment.

    4. Push the reset button.

    5. Properly restart your spa according to the instructions for your particular model, keeping the filters out.

    6. Wait 10 to 15 minutes and feel under the heater. If it gets warm, you need to clean your filters (see the chemical instruction sheet). If it doesn’t get warm, call service.

    No-Fault Black Heater

    4. Push the reset button.

    Titanium Heater

    4. Wait 15 minutes for the heater to rest itself.

    5. Properly restart you spa according to the instructions for your particular model, keeping the filters out.

    6. Wait 10 to 15 minutes and feel under the heater. If it gets warm, you need to clean your filters (see the chemical instruction sheet). If it doesn’t get warm, call service.
